R&S originated in response to the rail service needs of leading retailers, and since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to operating on multiple shifts, including on nights, weekends, and holidays. If you’re open, we are too.

Our Story
2001
Our story began in 2001 with a 20,000-square-foot warehouse in Loudon, Tennessee.
2004
In 2004, we built a 20,000-square-foot addition to increase our storage capacity. We also added loading and unloading railway freight to our services.
2006
In 2006, we added a brokerage division along with asset-based trucking for just-in-time deliveries.
2007 - 2009
From 2007 to 2009, we developed specializations in the food, pharmaceutical, automotive, chemical, and biomass industries.
2011
As part of our ongoing commitment to quality management, our first location received an ISO 9001 certification.
2012-2018
During this period, we experienced significant growth, expanding our customer base to include clients in Indianapolis and Nashville.
2020
Continuing to improve our facilities and processes, we also received ISO 140001 certification.
2021
Like many businesses in 2020-2021, we were profoundly impacted by COVID-19. With an increased emphasis on the supply chain, we secured a crucial new warehouse location at the port of Savannah, Georgia.
Present
Since 2021, we have secured several new locations in Morristown, Tennessee. With these additions, we now offer 2 million square feet (and growing!) of warehouse space for our customers.

Landon Pyle has served as the Director of Business Development since joining the team in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson University and is dedicated to finding the right solutions for challenging issues. He quite literally thinks outside the box to handle non-standard freight loads.
Bobby Taylor
VP Of Customer Relations
Bobby has been the Operations and Transportation Manager at R&S Logistics since 2012, having graduated from the University of Tennessee with a dual major in marketing and supply chain management. Prior to joining R&S, he worked with Fortune 500 companies in automotive and consumer goods. He is passionate about fostering growth and building strong connections with people.
